Stories of real people
is the heartbeat of philanthropy.
tpb strategic counsel serves people and organizations committed to making a real difference with their constituents, stakeholders, beneficiaries and their extended communities of influence.
We help to bring clarity to WHY, develop the capacity for HOW, and set priorities for WHAT to deliver on their promise of impact, outcome, and change.
tpb strategic counsel ltd. is founded on the basis of “making a real difference” for the organizations served. Uniquely, tpb’s strength and focus comes in asking the right questions, and seeking answers which are appropriately customized to each organization. An interactive, engaged process of making such discoveries together, adds to the sustainability of the changes and outcomes being pursued, and lends clarity to the active pursuit of organizational purpose.
Who We Are
tpb holds to the principles that organizations need to hold steadfastly to their mission, and their vision (or purpose) must be valued-based and deliver outcomes that impact others. In doing so, organizations have the privilege and opportunity to be transformational, authentic and incremental. tpb also encourages that organizations understand that their influence and impact grows when they hold to a posture of “with” (constituents, members, donors, beneficiaries, society, etc.).
tpb strategic counsel ltd. operates on the premise that fundraising, development and advancement functions contribute to organizational change. Thus tpb serves more as an organizational change agent than that of being a “fundraising technician”. As organizations, the focus is on meeting the needs of people in alignment with our purpose for being.
Great leaders invite people
into a movement
with a purpose and intent.
In serving organizations, tpb emphasizes a deeper understanding of the significant impact that fundraising, stewardship and generosity have on the donor, those serving the organization, and most importantly the beneficiaries. Uniquely, development (fundraising) is about relationships and the pursuit of making a real difference though the impact, changes and opportunities that are made possible in our communities and circles of influence.
What We Do
tpb has a wide breath of fundraising and external relations experience including health care (acute care, long-term care, health/disease charities), higher education, continuing education, sport, arts and culture, economic and community development, and faith-based organizations.
